Pokémon GO Daily Bonuses New Update Is LiveThe long awaited Pokémon GO Daily Bonuses Update is finally live. Developers from Niantic have really put in a lot of effort into fixing certain issues with the game and making it a more exciting experience.

In the new update, trainers will gain bonuses for every first Pokémon catch and PokéStop visit in a day. Doing that seven days in a row will earn even larger XP and Stardust boosts. You can find the exact bonus amounts below.

Players will also have a limited amount of time after defeating a Gym leader where only they can place a Pokémon in the conquered Gym. This is to prevent Gym sniping, where a trainer would wait for somebody else to defeat a Gym leader and then quickly insert their own Pokémon.

The update also brings changes to the Gym Prestige system. The amount of Prestige lost when you defeat a regular gym member has been increased, while the amount gained when training at a friendly gym has been decreased. This will allow for easier Gym takeovers, making the game more dynamic. You can find out more about this in our Big gym changes in Pokemon GO article.
