Gwent Beta Brawl #1.5 & #2 Tournaments Announced

Gwent Beta Brawl #1.5 & #2 Tournaments have been announced by CD Projekt Red on their official forum. Details about the next two competitive events in Gwent as a standalone game are still scarce.

Team Gwent has only outlined the general times and rules.

Gwent Beta Brawl #1.5 & #2 Tournaments AnnouncedFans are already clamoring about the upcoming Gwent tournaments, titled Beta Brawl #1.5 and Beta Brawl #2. The first Beta Brawl received a relatively mild response to the due to a small number of players. However, the upcoming two will see many more willing candidates with stronger decks.

Gwent Beta Brawl #1.5 Tournament

The tournament will take place on November 11th, starting at 19:00 CEST.The rules, which are subject to change, are as follows:

  • You will have to be present on discord during the tournament: https://discord.gg/krDDG87
  • Best of one elimination meaning if you lose a single game you drop to the loser bracket.
  • If you lose a game in the loser bracket you are out of the tournament.
  • Each player should prepare a single deck for this tournament.
  • The said deck may NOT be changed at any point during the tournament.
Checking in 60 minutes before the beginning of the tournament is obligatory and you will be disqualified automatically if you don’t. Taking screenshots of your victory screen after each match is recommended.

The Monthly Final gains are:

  • 1st place – 4 points
  • 2nd place – 3 points
  • Top 4 – 2 points
  • Top 8 – 1 point

Gwent Beta Brawl #2 Tournament

The tournament will start on November 12th at 19:00 CEST. This tournament has more of a knock-out system. The rules are:

  • You will have to be present on discord during the tournament: https://discord.gg/krDDG87.
  • Each player should prepare 3 decks for the tournament.
  • Player that wins a match can keep on playing with the same deck but does not have to. If he wishes to, he can switch to one of the other 3 decks.
  • Player that lost must change his deck (the deck he lost with can’t be used anymore).
  • First player that loses with all his 3 decks is out of the tournament.
This tournament also requires you to check in 60 minutes before it starts, or you’ll be disqualified. You should take screenshots of your victory screens after each match as well.

The Monthly Final gains are:

  • 1st place – 6 points
  • 2nd place – 4 points
  • Top 4 – 3 points
  • Top 8 – 2 points
