Follower Sabre | Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel
Follower Sabre is a new weapon in Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel. It is a curved sword with a skill that allows for guard breaking.
Great curved sword wielded by Farron Followers. Its great weaight enables heavy-handed chain attacks. The Followers brandish their swords to hunt warriors taken by the Abyss. Their technique is honde to face man, implying those yet to lose their human aspect are their likeliest prey.
Skill: Prying Wedge
A chain attack that wedges below foes and swings upward, breaking their guard. Strong attacks can be used to follow up the onslaught with a fatal blow.
The sabre requires you to invest 9 points into strength and 14 points into dexterity. It has a starting D in scaling with both. The block breaking skill can really come in useful, and it’s one of the rare weapons that has it, that doesn’t require lots of STR to wield.
You can get it later on in the DLC, once you’ve explored most of the map. You can easily miss it, since you’re going to be shot at while you pass it by, so you won’t have time to look around. This guide is going to show you where to find Follower Sabre in Ashes of Ariandel, its stats and moveset.
Follower Sabre Location
Spawn at the bonfire in Ariandel Chapel. Go outside and approach the bridge. Hit it until it collapses. Use it as a ladder. Once you’re off the ladder, go right, across the roots, to the plateau where the spearmen are. Go to the far side of the platform and turn around. You should see an enemy with a torch in the distance. Climb the root going upward, then jump off it onto the other one, with the corpse. The sabre will be on the corpse. Keep in mind you’re going to be under constant fire while you do this, so don’t linger.Follower Sabre Description & Stats
