Ethereal Oak Shield | Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel
Ethereal Oak Shield is one of the few added shields in the first Dark Souls 3 DLC: Ashes of Ariandel. This shield slowly regenerates HP.
Charbronze shield used by Millwood Knights that slowly regenerates HP.
This shield appears to be blessed by a great, if faded, image of the ethereal oak.
Skill: Weapon Skill
Equipping this shield in the left hand allows one to perform the skill of the right hand weapon.
It is found near the start of the DLC, inside a tall stone tower. You can miss it easily, because the path towards the main route doesn’t go through the area where you find the shield. Nonetheless, if you like to explore, you won’t have problems finding it. It is really hard not to miss the giant tall tower that dominates the “hidden” area.
Ethereal Oak Shield Location
Start the DLC and enter the Painted World of Ariandel map. Continue forward until you step on the collapsed snowy part of the platform. This takes you to the lower platform, where once more you should go forward. As you come to the edge of the mountain turn left and follow this route. The narrow path under a giant mountain rock takes you to the another open location. At the start of the new area you can spot the large, tall, stone tower in the distance. Head inside. As you climb on the top of first ladder, you can spot the first glowing item. This is the Ethereal Oak Shield. Once you get off the ladders, use the stairs to go one floor bellow to collect the item.As you can notice by now this item resembles the shield that many stronger enemies carry in this DLC. For the full set you’ll need to collect the Millwood Knight Armor set. Luckily for us, it is found in the same area, the tower. We’ve done guide on the Millwood Knight Armor Set if you want to check it out as well.Ethereal Oak Shield Stats & Description
