Pyromancer's Parting Flame | Dark Souls 3 Ashes of Ariandel

Pyromancer’s Parting Flame is a new pyro flame in Dark Souls 3. It was added in the Ashes of Ariandel DLC. It can be found in a secret zone in the new area, Painted World of Ariandel. It has an interesting weapon art that allows you to turn kills into heals. In this guide, we’re going to show you where to find Pyromancer’s Parting Flame in Ashes of Ariandel, what it does.

Parting Flame Location

Spawn at the Ariandel Chapel bonfire. Go into the antechamber and through the wooden door. Descend the stairs into the crypt. Go all the way to the other side of the room, and go down the stairs to the lower floor. Go along the right wall. Somewhere near the middle, there’s an illusory wall. Hit it and go through the passage. Exit onto the clifftop. Use the giant roots to descend the cliff. Jump onto the crumpled bridge leading into the tower. You’ll find the flame on a corpse by the edge.

If you don’t have the shortcut open, spawn at the Snowy Mountain Pass bonfire. Go up the hill to the giant bell and turn left. When you hit the cliff, turn right, then immediately right again. Follow the path up the mountain, past the Millwood Knights. You’ll see a cave entrance near the end. When you enter it, you’ll be in the crypt.

Description:
The pyromancy flame of Livid Pyromancer Dunnel that attracts the echoes of death. When Dunnel lost his hideous spouse, he gave his own pyromancy flame as an offering, which transformed into a parting flame. Not long after, Dunnel became a mad spirit, damned to wander the lands.
Skill: Parting Flame
Release store of death echoes to gain a modest dose of Estus.

When you kill enemies with the Parting Flame equipped, tiny yellow wisps will gather around you. When you use the weapon art, you’ll spend them in order to get healed. You’ll need 13 in both Intelligence and Faith to use it, and it has a D in scaling with both (before upgrades).
