Doom has officially launched, and players can grab new futuristic weapons and mow down scary-looking demons. Once you decide to try multiplayer and all-new game modes, powerful weapons, vertical movement, and unique power-ups, you’ll probably come across a small problem – how to change the default “Doom Marine” name.
How to change Doom Marine name
First of all, you should know that your name in multiplayer is the name of your Steam Account or PSN Account. If your character is named Doom Marine during the multiplayer session, the reason can be one of the following:
- It’s probably because your Account name has a special character that’s not allowed.
- Your Account name is too short (only 3 characters long)
- Your Account name is on some blacklist
In order to solve this problem, you’ll have to
change your Account name!
