Lorian, Elder Prince & Lothric, Younger Prince | Dark Souls 3
Lorian, Elder Prince and Lothric, Younger Prince are cinder lords in Dark Souls 3, thus bosses you have to kill. In the first phase, you fight versus Lorian and in the second against both.
Area: Lothric Castle
The Closest Bonfire: Dragonslayer Armour
Basic Rewards: Cinders of a Lord, Soul of the Twin Princes, 85,000 souls
In the first phase you’ll face Lorian, Elder Prince. Lorian is a slow moving boss that has a great fire sword that he likes to swing a lot while he teleports from place to place rather quickly. His attacks change as his position towards the player adjusts. You can expect side swings if you are next to him, charge-and-poke or slams if you are a bit farther away from him, or a devastating charge attack with a lighting ray when you are the farthest. Keep close to him all the time, dodge attacks and use his short periods of rest to attack. Be aggressive at all cost.
During the second phase Lothric, Younger Prince hops onto his brother. Once you kill Lothric in this phase, the boss fight ends. This might be a bit difficult as Lorian tends to soak up all of your attacks. If you happen to kill Lorian before Lothric, he will resurrect him once more. This is more of a ranged phase than the first one. They will tend to attack you from long range. Beside the abilities Lorian keeps from the first phase, Lothric adds a couple more. He tends to cast small lighting bolts (that go for the player’s location) and big charging lighting bolts (usually after Lorian’s lighting ray). Avoid the big ones at all cost, use the room’s pillars if you have to (lighting bolts don’t go through them). Be aggressive when you can and passive when you are forced to.
This guide will show you how to defeat Lorian & Lothric in Dark Souls 3, which rewards to expect.
