Oceiros, the Consumed King | Dark Souls 3
Oceiros, the Consumed King is an optional boss in Dark Souls 3. You can approach Oceiros once you kill Dancer of the Boreal Valley.
Area: Consumed King’s Garden
The Closest Bonfire: Dancer of the Boreal Valley
Basic Rewards: Soul of Consumed Oceiros, 58,000 souls, path to Untended Graves area, emote “Path of the Dragon” (that you can use later on to enter another hidden area Archdragon Peak and try to kill two more optional bosses. One of them is the famous Nameless King), the ability to get an alternative ending and much more.
Oceiros is one of the easy boss fights. What makes it easy are his side and move abilities. If you stick close to his hind legs and aren’t greedy with your hits, you can evade all of his attacks. The only attacks that cause any problems for use were when he hits the ground with his staff and creates a small frost explosion and the jump attack. The second phase starts when he loses his staff. This is the more dangerous phase, where Oceiros becomes more agile and likes to charge at you. There is a single deadly attack that knocks the player back. As he tends to repeat this attack, you’ll want to back up to the entrance of the room as soon as possible. Keep your back turned toward the walls right or left from the entrance. This will make Oceiros charge into this small area and let you finish him off rather easily.
Defeating him will also grant you an opportunity to find the hidden path to Untended Graves, another optional boss, the Path of the Dragon gesture and more. This guide will show you how to beat Oceiros the Consumed King in Dark Souls 3, which rewards to expect.
