The Division Launch Trailer Released
Ubisoft has released a new trailer for their upcoming game, The Division. Unlike all other videos, this one puts the focus on the story, along with numerous explosive action cutscenes.
We see Agents in combat as they try to liberate the town of gangs and random thugs.
The latest trailer gives us a short preview of the game’s actual story, narrated by one of the Agents. Until now, it’s been mainly communicated through descriptions and interviews. We finally get to see a glimpse of the main plot and some of the enemies we’ll get to fight. The raiders and looters are vile scum, preying on defenseless civilians. It will be up to the players to stop them and restore order to New York City.
Beta players and The Division enthusiasts may notice some familiar tools and gadgets in the trailer, like automatic turrets, shields and flares used for extraction. There are also enemies from a well-known faction called Rikers, converging at what appears to be their headquarters.
The game will be released on March 8th on Xbox One, PC and Playstation 4, together with the survival guide / novel tie-in that contains some secrets.
