The Division Open Beta Coming Next Week
Ubisoft have announced an open beta test for Tom Clancy’s The Division. It’s only going to last a couple of days, but everyone’s welcome, so it’s the perfect chance to check out the game before release and see if you’d like to buy it.
For PC and Playstation 4 players, the beta will start on February 19th and end on the 21st.
This beta is supposed to provide a final stress test for the servers, so the devs are presumably hoping a large enough number of people decides to try it out. It will contain all of the content from the closed beta, along with a new story missions. Everyone who decides to try it out will receive a “special in-game reward” which will become available along with the game.
Tom Clancy’s The Division is going to be released on March 8th, on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Xbox One owners will get a day’s head start, like with the previous test. Everyone will be able to play, regardless of whether they’ve preordered the game. Preloading will begin on February 16th, so everyone can just jump in once the beta is live.
