The Witness PC System Requirements Announced

The Steam page for The Witness has gone live a few days ago, revealing the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game. There’s no word on a solid release date yet, but the page says “January 2016”.


Here’s what you’ll need to run it:

Minimum:

• OS: Windows 7
• Processor: 1.8GHz
• Memory: 4 GB RAM
• Graphics: Intel HD 4000 series
• DirectX: Version 9.0
• Storage: 4 GB available space

Recommended:

• OS: Windows 7
• Processor: 2.4GHz
• Memory: 8 GB RAM
• Graphics: GeForce 780
• DirectX: Version 10
• Storage: 4 GB available space

There you have it. A five year old laptop with integrated graphics will be able to run it, but you’ll need a decent machine to play with all the bells and whistles. The PS4 version is set to launch on January 26th, so we’re hopeful the PC will be available on the same day.
