Riddles are special puzzles in Batman: Arkham Knight. The game gives you a verse, and you have to discover which location it speaks of, then investigate it.

Solving them unlocks Gotham City Stories, which provide further insight into the world. In this guide, we’re going to show you the locations and solutions to Miagani Island Riddles.
There’s another video with the rest of the solutions. Investigating riddles is done by pressing and holding the button you use to enter detective mode. If you’ve missed some riddles in the other areas, take a look at one of our detailed guides:
It doesn’t take much to tame a Cat, make them wear this, and then call the bat.
Solving this riddle unlocks the On The Prowl story. You need to go to Pinkney Orphanage, in the southwestern part of the island. Enter from the back, and you’ll find Catwoman in a large lobby. Zoom in on her and investigate.
Hospital Riddle
Friends of the Waynes though not as wealthy, their memorial ward keeps Gotham healthy.
This one unlocks a story called Keep Your Friends Close. You’ll have to visit Eliott Memorial Hospital to solve it. Stand in front of the main entrance, look up at the sign above the door and investigate.
Hell’s Gate Riddle
Are you suffering from a mental split? Take out the trash before you defend it.
Solving this will allow you to read the Taking Out The Trash story. Follow the rail from Grand Avenue to Bristol. Look at the storefronts along the way. One has a sign saying “Hell’s Gate”. Investigate it.
Billboard Riddle
Disarming, charming, quite the inquisitor. She’ll pull back the vale, whoever her visitor.
Solving it will unlock the story Showtime. You need to investigate the Vicky Vale billboard. The best place is the building across the street from it.
Poster Riddle
A former warden who had a Strange turn, his appointment as mayor was a cause for concern.
If you solve it, you’ll get to read Visiting Hours. If you go east from the Grand Avenue plaza, you’ll see a storefront with a sign saying “Lacey’s”. There’s an election poster on the side of the building. Climb the building next to it, zoom in and investigate.
Graffiti Riddle
The League of Assassins stuck blades through hearts, now they impale each other’s art.
Solving it unlocks the story of The Demon’s Head. The solution is on a wall of a run-down house in the north-eastern part of the island, close to Mercy Bridge. Get close to the house and investigate the graffiti.
Tower Riddle
The highest building in Arkham City, A Strange man worked here, who took no pity.
The name of the story you’ll get is Wonder Tower. Climb Wayne Tower and face east. You’ll see a tower in the distance – zoom in and investigate it.
Family Portrait Riddle
The prince of Gotham sits high in his tower, yet this picture recalls a happier hour.
Solving this puzzle will unlock the Legacy story. To do so, you’ll have to go into the office in Wayne Tower and investigate the Wayne family portrait next to the door. This can be done during the Hush mission, when you head to the tower to check up on Lucius.
Botanical Garden Riddle
A natural cure for Scarecrow’s doom, your savior’s gone but still in bloom.
You’ll unlock the Wallflower story when you solve this riddle. After you’ve cleansed the city of Scarecrow’s toxin, go to the roof of Miagani Botanical Gardens. Look at the ground near the giant plant – you’ll see a single red flower. Go near it and examine it.
Final Exam Riddle
You forced this contraption over my brain, I’ll reward you with punishment, debasement and pain.
Solving this riddle unlocks the Social Outcast story. You’ll come across it while doing the Riddler’s Revenge side mission in Pinkney Orphanage. During the Final Exam challenge, hack the console on the shelf filled with plush toys. It will open up Riddler’s planning room. Go to the drawing board with the mask in front of it and investigate it.
Having same issue with Final Exam hidden room riddle. Scanned it but died as CW during Final Exam. When I go back, console is dead, and hacking device cant recognize it. Have heard from others the only way to address this is to finish the game, and start a NG+ and play until I open Founder’s Island again.
Can somebody please help how to solve Riddlers Trophy in Waynes Tower. I completed the game but in the end the tower is closed. Is there a way to open it again?
Guys maybe you can help me . In the “Final Exam” Room at Pinkeney Orphanage i can’t hack the console because the console is dead. It Shows nothing. I hacked it first but then i died with catwoman during the second challenge there i guess. After that the console was dead. I can’t do anything. I searched all the time on the Internet but i seemed to be the only one who has this Problem at the Moment.
Any trick to getting the hacking device to recognize it the second time around? Someone below posted you can use a different password, but I can’t even get the HD to recognize it. The consoles just dead.
That’s ridiculous. This thing has been a pivotal prop in this entire Catwoman subplot, and Batman’s AR wouldn’t have it registered as something to automatically highlight the second it’s in range? Come on, game designers…
I already freed catwoman also and need to scan the collar. Scanned floor by key box in “final exam” and cant find it on any desk. Anybody wanna save me from this shiz?
I found it!!!! Look to the right of tyhe key box. Its next to the green neon light on the floor where the heater and the tricycle is. Zoom in and its right by the edge of the light. It is very small and you wont see it unless you zoom in.
Don’t listen to him. Look, get to the room where she took the collar off, a place called like final exam or similar and get to the key box, you know the place where catwoman gets the keys. If you look left,you will find some teddy bears. I want you to look right and I want you to look at an orange light that is on the floor. Right next to it, I mean like 5 centimetres away from the light, you will find the collar. Don’t get angry because it is so small that no wonder you couldn’t find it. Good luck man

I can’t find catwomon are you supposed to scan her neck before she leaves if so I’m effed

Go to the top of the building. There should be a door you can open.

If you are looking at the key box turn right. There is a white light in front of the radiator. The collar is on the right side in front of that light.
