Ciri will appear with Avallac’h a few days after the battle. She is unable to put the battle behind her and asks how you cope with it all. You have two options:
- Tell her: “Think I know what might lift your spirits.” This will give +1 Positive choice to Ciri’s fate.
- Tell her: “Relax, you don’t have to be good at everything.” This will give -1 Negative choice to Ciri’s fate.
Choice 1
“Gotta visit the emperor first.”
The two of you head to Vizima first, to meet Ciri’s father. If you choose this option, Ciri will become empress.
Choice 2
“All right, Velen it is.”
If you choose this option, Ciri will become a Witcher instead.
Father’s Day
You arrive in Vizima a week later and are brought before the emperor. He will greet her with her full name and have one of his servants bring a chest filled with coins. You’ll have to make a choice.
Choice 1
Refuse the coin.
Ciri will be proud with you. This counts as a Positive Choice (+1) for Ciri’s fate.
Ciri and her father will then walk away to talk in private, but not before the Emhyr gives you a black Nilfgaardian mare as a token of his appreciation.
In the Grand Hall, General Voorhis will allude to Ciri becoming Empress, which is something you can agree with or question. Listen to him talk until Ciri interrupts you. She is angry at her father and wants to leave immediately.
