The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Ciri Gameplay Video

CD Projekt Red has released a video showing the secondary protagonist of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Ciri, in action. The footage, at a modest length of two minutes, covers a part of a quest of hers – killing a bunch of wolves in a murky forest.


According to the developers, Ciri’s intermissions will be a more linear, guided experience. There will be a few of them, and they will focus on the story instead of the exploration and progression. The combat will be more action-oriented, as we won’t get to choose how to upgrade her skills. She’s not a witcher, so she can’t use signs, but she does possess a few unique skills of her own. As seen in the video, she can blink, covering short distances in an instant. She’s seemingly faster than Geralt, at least from what we’ve seen in the videos.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is going to launch on May 19 on the PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
