The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Precious Cargo Quest Trailer
CD Projekt RED have released a new video from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It shows a side quest from the prologue called Precious Cargo, from start to finish.
It’s a minor thing, so there’s no need to fear spoilers – but it is a taste of things to come, in regards to choices and consequences, the quality of writing, etc.
The quest begins when Geralt happens upon a merchant seeking help by the road. The trader’s horse was scared by something, so it threw him off and ran away into the swamp with the cart full of cargo. Geralt can choose to help him by finding the horse or ignore him and be on his merry way.
Something seems off right from the start. The twist comes soon enough, and Geralt ends up in a high speed horse chase. It’s a short quest, but it shows what we should expect in terms of branching, choices and the quality of dialogues.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to launch on May 19th, on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
