First of all – the sex. The tawdry erotic cards are already a thing of the past, and the developers are trying a much more serious approach this time around.

In truth, those erotic cards has never been something special for us. There is nothing to be proud of. At the same time, we are not going to give up the topic of sex in the third part. It’s still a game for adults and the amorous adventures of Geralt are absolutely natural in this context.
While this will be the last game about Geralt, it almost certainly won’t be the last that’s going to take place in the Witcher universe. There’s more characters and places to explore, and CD Projekt RED are willing to do it.
I want to emphasize that the game world is huge and it still has a bunch of places and characters that we did not have time to tell you about in previous projects, and will be happy to do so in the future.
We saw Geralt steer a boat in some of the trailers, but now we know he’ll also be able to swim. The swimming will play a big part in exploration – according to Szamałek, Geralt will be able to “swim underwater to discover new areas that are inaccessible by land.” Apart from the mainland, there will be five large and five small islands in the sea, holding many secrets in caves, ruins and abandoned settlements.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is expected to release on May 19th on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
