Destiny New Update On The Way
After successfully shipping update 1.1.1, the folks at Bungie are hard at work on the next version of Destiny. What will it fix?
Although the release date for the update hasn’t been set yet, it will certainly land before House of Wolves. If there’s something you’d like to see changed, head on to the official forums and voice your concerns. The developers are listening, hungry for feedback, burning with desire to make the game as good as possible.

When will it come? Nobody knows. It’s just too early. They do have a set of features they’re “excited about exploring”. Here’s the list, straight from the official blog:
Once again, nothing is set in stone. This is what they hope to achieve, and it’s a good list. There certainly are some strike missions nobody likes, and that is a problem everyone would like to see resolved. As for vault space… well, that one’s pretty obvious. No pocket is deep enough.
- Vault Space – We know you need more space to collect all the treasures you gain from your missions, and more gear is on the way.
- Raid Fixes – There are times when Atheon and Crota can be uncooperative, so we’re tackling their worst bugs.
- Audio and Visual – Not everyone wants to see or hear a game the same way, which is why we’re looking at providing more options.
- PVP Ammunition – The Crucible team wants to change the way ammo crates dictate the flow of a battle.
- Strikes – The numbers tell us that there are some missions that are successfully completed far less than others, inspiring us to look at why people quit.
