All Computer Passwords for Alan Wake 2 The Lake House DLC - Hard Work Trophy
We’re back in the twisted world of Alan Wake 2 with a new DLC called The Lake House and it brings a set of its own puzzles and achievements. Among them is the Hard Work trophy that you can get by finding out five different computer passwords for five computers. You need to input the passwords and access all five computers for the achievement to unlock. As with the base game, there are notes around to help you deduct what the password might be. To help you save some time, or if you’re by any chance stuck, I’ve compiled this list of passwords for each computer in Alan Wake 2 The Lake House DLC. It’s interesting to read some of the emails on those computers for us lore loving gamers.
Dr. Marmont’s Office Computer Password
The first computer is found in Dr. Marmont’s Office on the ground floor of the Lake House. The puzzle solution for Dr Marmot’s computer password is found in the notes in this room. There are some pictures and diplomas on the wall across from the computer. You need to look out for bold text in these notes. Especially text that translates to numbers. Notice of appointment on the wall mentions July 18 and that text is in bold. The calendar on the desk has a tiny part of the text in bold; the number 38. Trying a combination of these numbers the password for the first computer in The Lake House is 071838.
Holding & Observation Computer Passwords
The second computer password is the one every system administrator will tell you never to use. Of course, everyone uses it, even members of a secret government agency that explores the supernatural. The password is 123456 and the computer is in the Holding & Observation Cell area.
Moving further into Holding & Observation you’ll reach the control center and in a room in the southwest corner of the map is the third computer with a password. In a room across it, to the north, you’ll find an unlocked computer with some emails discussing today’s password. It mentions a Brown Shape with Horns is part of the password as well as an anniversary. There’s a note on the desk next to the computer talking about an anniversary. The note is written on 9/14/23 and it says that the anniversary in question is happening a week from this Friday. If you check out the calendar an the wall behind the desk you can calculate when next Friday is and what is its exact date. Go back to the room with the password protected computer and a note next to it discusses Brown Shape with Horns as having the ID: RL-2-25, where 25 is in bold text. All of these clues come out to the password being 092225.
Back on -1 floor in the inventory room is another password protected computer. The password is 021219.
Last computer is in the Research Archives on -4 in the middle of the room. As you progress the main story you’ll be able to reach it and the final computer password is 655298.
