Dragon's Dogma 2 Dye Merchant Locations

In our Dragon’s Dogma 2 dye merchant locations guide, we will show you where we’ve found these vendors. They are surprisingly relatively rare, which is fine, because I doubt that purchasing dyes is going to change anything major in the plot. Even so, it’s not bad to know where these merchants are, if for no other reason, then for the possibility of making cooler threads for yourself. So, let’s get right into it, shall we?

Where to Find Dye Merchant in Dragon’s Dogma 2

At time of writing, we have found the location of only one Dye Merchant in Dragon’s Dogma 2. I’d bet dollars to donuts that there are more out there in the open world, but we simply haven’t found them yet. The game is vast, and there’s so much to see and do. We’ll add more Dye Merchant locations as we run into them. I invite you to share the places where you found them in the comments below, and we’ll update the guide after we’ve confirmed the info. With all of that out of the way, the Dye Merchant we found is in the northwest corner of Bakbattahl. There’s an NPC standing directly opposite of the Grand Riftstone of Battahl. Speak with them, and they’ll show you their selection of dyes.

So, yeah, that’s where we found the Dye Merchant location of Dragon’s Dogma 2. There are five dyes you can get here: green, yellow, red, blue and purple. Each costs five hundred Rift Crystals, which is nothing to sneeze at. Also, we haven’t yet figured out how to use them. The Use button is greyed out when you select the dye in our inventory, which probably means that we have to combine the dye with something else. What that is, we still don’t know. As soon as we find out, we’ll let you know. It could be as simple as mixing it in water or something, but we haven’t had the chance to experiment just yet.
