Does Character Height & Weight Matter in Dragon's Dogma 2?
Like the first game, Dragon’s Dogma 2 has many customization options. While most of these are purely esthetic ones, a couple will affect how your character is going to play and perform. Is height and weight one of these, and does your character height and weight matter in Dragon’s Dogma 2? In this guide, we are going to examine how both of these work, whether there is a noticable difference in what you choose, and what would be the best height and weight for your Arisen.
Does Height and Weight Choice Matter in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Simply put – yes, both of these matter. A taller character will be able to run more quickly and they have a slightly bigger reach with their weapons, while shorter characters have smaller hitboxes. As for weight, heavier characters can carry more, though they will also have slower stamina regen. Lighter characters regenerate stamina at a faster rate, and they don’t use as much of it in their actions.
So while all of this will impact your character, the effect isn’t as drastic as it may seem at first. It will provide some advantages (or disadvantages) at first, though you can quickly get over this with the right selection of gear and Pawns.
Dragons Dogma 2 Best Character Height and Weight
This all depends on what sort of character you want to make. A taller and heavier character makes for a great melee fighter, while a lighter one is better suited for a thief. But if you are looking for a great all-around character build, then the upper end of the avarege height and bottom of the heavy range should get you the most optimal results. But again, there’s no reason to overthink this. Simply select the height and size that you think best represent the sort of character you want to play.
There are a number of variables that would be great to test and see how they effect move speed, stamina regen, and stamina use:
Leg(torso) length could effect
Encumbrance could effect
Character Weight could effect
Character height could effect
