Dragon's Dogma 2 Forgotten Riftstones Locations
Finding out where to find locations of Dragon’s Dogma 2 Forgotten Riftstones is important because, well, the Riftstones are a major mechanic. And, sure, they can be found in pretty much every town, but they are also in the wild sometimes. Problem is, they’re super-easy to miss. That’s why, in this guide, we are going to show you where they are. We’ll keep updating the article as we find more Forgotten Riftstones, of course.
Where to Find Dragon’s Dogma 2 Forgotten Riftstones?
You can find Forgotten Riftstones dotted across the map in Dragon’s Dogma 2. They are easy to overlook, because they look like a mere pile of black rocks in a circular stone base. When you approach them, though, you can examine and activate it. At that point, one of two things will happen. Either it will start working as a regular riftstone, used to summon Pawns “of a different nature to those that can be summoned in town,” or it will summon a single, high-level Pawn and then disappear. You can then hire that Pawn for free.
The first one we found was north of Melve and west of the Borderwatch Riftstone. It’s near a small area called Moonglow Garden. If you don’t know where it is, check out the screenshot below. It’s near the edge of a cliff, so be careful not to accidentally run off it. Once you activate this Forgotten Riftstone in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll learn it’s called Riftstone of the Summit, and it is one of those that work like a regular Riftstone you’d find in a town. Peruse the available Pawns and pick one if you so choose.
The second Riftstone we’ve come across is west of Vermund. There’s a dirt path you can follow leading west of the town, and at one point, there’s a ledge you can climb to the south. This particular one is called Riftstone of Noontide, and again, take a look at the screenshot to see exactly where to go.
