Alone in the Dark Bolt Cutter Location
The trusty bolt cutter is one of those tried and true tools in every good adventurer’s toolbox. Because of that, it’s no wonder that it is also one of the many items that you will need to collect and use in the Alone in the Dark remake. The first time that you will encounter the need for a Bolt Cutter is when you find the chained door in the kitchen garden. Since this is very early on, you won’t have access to this tool just yet. How to Get Bolt Cutter in Alone in the Dark
As previously stated, you will come across a conspicious chained door in the kitchen garden early on in the game. When you try to interact with it, you’ll get a comment notifying you that you can’t get in there. After that, when you get the objective to investigate the Small Parlor and pick up the shotgun there, try and leave by opening the doors to the Conservatory. Suddenly, the room is going to shift into a nightmare, with black sludge on the floor and bats flying everywhere. Even worse, the Conservatory door is now chained and locked, meaning that you can’t leave.
Luckily, there’s a way to escape. Make your way to the table at the other end of the room. There, you’re going to see a pair of Bolt Cutters. Pick it up and go back to the chained Conservatory door. Use the Bolt Cutter to cut the chains and open them. Doing this will cause the room to revert back to normal. You can see this entire sequence in action in our video directly below.
