How to Access To Helm’s Starting Contract in Skull and Bones

The early release of Ubisoft’s pirate sim is just about to start. During the open beta, players had a chance to experience many aspects of the game before deciding if they wanted to purchase it. One of the end-game elements is the infamous Black Market, operated by The Helm. The Helm is a sort of secret pirate society which deals with contraband goods of all kinds. You will get an opportunity to unlock it once you meet Yanita, the leader of The Helm. Here are the main requirements in order to reach this point:

  • Progress the main storyline in Saint Anne .
  • While not confirmed, some players state that you need to complete the whole Scurlock questline – complete The Rat and The Lion quest.
  • Eventually, you will receive a letter of invitation.
  • Head to the bar and speak with the barkeeper.
  • This will initiate the questline to unlock the Black Market, starting with the quest called “A Tight Ship”.
  • Continue this quest line until you eventually get access to The Helm and The Black Market.

However, some players report that they can’t access The Helm in Skull and Bones despite meeting all of the requirements. If that’s the case, restarting the game or leaving it for some time should fix the issue. The good news is that the developers are aware of this issue and are actively working on fixing it. We will make sure to update the article once we have more information.
