Best Palworld Coal Farming Locations

There are a few locations for coal farming in Palworld that could be considered the best. One that we found that was particularly rich in coal was in the northeast of the desert biome, aka Twilight Dunes. It is not far from the statue of Anubis, which is where you catch that Pal. The coal “deposit” is at the following coordinates: -160, -93. There are five coal boulders that you can find there. Now, I highly recommend that you bring at least a Metal Pickaxe on any coal mining expedition, because the Stone Pickaxe is not gonna last too long. Also, having a Pal with at least level 3 Mining to help. For more info on that, check out our Palworld Best Ore Mining Pals, Level 2-4 guide. Also, we would recommend having another Palbox built at the coal site, just so that you make transporting it easier.

Another one of the best coal farming locations in Palworld is at these coordinates: 183, -35. That’s closer to the starting point of the game, at the top of a hill east of the Vaelet boss. Then, there’s the entirety of the far northeast of the map, but that’s crawling with level 45-50 enemies, so stay away from there until you’re ready. The two spots we’ve laid out should be enough for a while. If you know of any other locations, let us know in the comments. Coal respawns every other day, by the way. And if you’re wondering what Coal is for: you can combine them with Ingots to create Refined Ingots, and you can put it on the Production Assembly Line to make Carbon Fiber.
