How to Fix Palworld Pals Stuck in Combat at Base

We all agree – Palworld is a splendid game which has exceeded all expectations. And the numbers don’t lie, the game has just beaten both Elden Ring and Cyberpunk 2007 on the list of games with the biggest number of concurrent players of all-time. However, we must not forget that this is still an early access title. There are still quite a few bugs, ranging from slightly annoying to game-breaking. One such bug is the Palworld Pals stuck in combat issue. A number of players report that their Palworld Pals are constantly in combat inside the base.

“Earlier today, when I was playing, my character fell through the map and died,” says Reddit user kylehahn_solo. “When I got back to my base, I noticed all of my pals were in combat mode (little red x above their head) looked all over my base and can’t find any hostile pals.” And he is just one of many players reporting a similar issue. Unfortunately, we at GosuNoob have encountered this bug as well. However, after some experimentation via the trial-and-error method, we’ve singled out a few solutions. Hence, here’s what you can do if you encounter the same “Pals Stuck in Combat” bug:

  • Use the Alarm Bell. This should focus them on work instead of combat.
  • Head to the Management and bring them all to back to the Paldeck The manually place them back to their positions.
  • Attack a random enemy Pal. This should snap them out of a glitched combat, and they will switch to the actual fight.
