How to Get Gold Cards in Monopoly GO

The only way to get Gold Cards or Stickers for free in Monopoly GO is to earn and open high-tier Card Packs. Every now and again, you can get those from the in-game shop, but we’re talking only the options that don’t involve paying anything. Unfortunately, that only leaves us with the path of blood, sweat and tears. By that, I mean you have to place as high as possible in tournaments and other events (including hitting as many milestones as you can). The better you do, the better your rewards are going to be. That includes Sticker Packs of higher levels. And, of course, the higher the tier of the Pack, the better the odds it will drop a Golden Sticker.

The only other way to get Gold Cards or Stickers for free in Monopoly GO is during Golden Blitz events. During these events, whose schedule is a complete mess and you never know when they’ll pop up, you can swap your duplicate Gold Stickers or Cards with other players. If you want more info on how all that works, check out our How to Trade Gold Stickers guide. Just keep in mind that there’s always a chance you’ll get another duplicate if you’re not careful. And no matter what, Gold Cards are always rare and therefore difficult to obtain. Getting all from one set will always take a lot of dedicated playing. There is no getting around it, as far as I know.
