MW3 HMR9 Challenges Not Tracking Progress
If Battle Pass challenges for unlocking the HMR9 are not tracking progress, you should know that this is currently a widespread issue. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 1 Reloaded has just kicked off. And while there’s a lot of content to be excited about, the biggest stars at launch are currently numerous bugs destroying the experience. For example, many players can’t unlock the new HMR9 SMG because the new sector is locked and Battle Pass is not tracking progress. Here’s what we know about this and if you can fix it.
MW3 HMR9 Challenges Not Tracking Progress, Kills Don’t Register in Battle Pass
It seems that there wasn’t much QA testing for Call of Duty’s latest mid-season update. Season 1 Reloaded, the first major COD update in 2024, has been released in an abysmal state. Many players are unable to even start the game due to several game-breaking bugs. However, even if you are lucky enough to enter, you’ll find that many things are broken. And if you were hoping to start grinding challenges for the new SMG, you would be disappointed.
“Completed the battle pass for the season. But now the sector with the new SMG is locked and saying I need to complete the adjacent sectors, even though I already have them completed,” writes Reddit user Beginning_Self5154. Another user added, “The sector for the new SMG to unlock doesn’t track my challenge progress”. These are just some of the reports on the same issue. Players are unable to unlock the new battle pass sector with the new SMG because HMR9 challenges are not tracking.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there don’t seem to be any solutions for this bug. Players have tried restarting the game and reinstalling Call of Duty. They tried doing challenges in both MW3 and Warzone, but nothing works. For now, that’s all we currently know. Nevertheless, we will follow the situation closely and update the article as soon as we learn new information.
