How to Get Starter Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk

To get Starters to spawn in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk DLC, you have to jump through a few hoops that are not exactly explained very well. So, the first step is to play the game until you unlock access to the League Club Room in Blueberry Academy. Once you do, go inside and interact with the computer. This menu lets you buy all sorts of upgrades for BP, aka Battle Points. If you scroll all the way down, you’ll see four requests from the Terrarium Club, one for each biome. Each costs a whopping three thousand BP. It’s worth it, because buying these upgrades boosts the biodiversity of the respective biomes. This includes various Starter Pokemon beginning to spawn.

All Pokemon Indigo Disk Starters in Each Biome

There are at least three Pokemon Indigo Disk Starters in each biome, and some actually have more than that. The list below, I believe, is not entirely complete. We haven’t been able to find them all, nor has the internet. Which makes sense, the DLC is still pretty fresh; it’ll take a while before even the most dedicated players can explore every nook and cranny. So, feel free to tell us about the Starter Pokemon you’ve found in the comments below. In the meantime, here is the list of Starters we’ve managed to run into.

  • Savannah biome – Rowlet, Totodile, Charmander, Snivy, Sobble, Fennekin
  • Polar biome – Tepig, Squirtle, Litten
  • Canyon biome – Piplup, Chimchar, Oshawott
  • Coastal biome – Popplio, Grookey, Froakie
