The first step is to make the Lumber Mill and use it to make Planks, then collect some Shells to upgrade your Crafting Bench. Craft the Uncommon Axe, then use that to collect some Knotroot and turn it into Rods at the Lumber Mill. Go back to the Bench and make an Uncommon Pickaxe.

Next, go and dig Marble and make the Stone Breaker, then use that to make Marble Slabs. Also, collect Sand Claws, Sand Shells and Raw Amber. Upgrade your Bench to Rare. Make a Gem Cutter, use it to get Cut Amber, and make the Rare Axe. Use that to cut down cacti and get Flexwood, turn it into Rods, and then create the Rare Pickaxe.

Now you have to collect the necessary materials to create the Metal Smelter. For that, you’ll need to get Blast Cores, Obsidian to turn into Slabs at the Gem Cutter, and Brightcores.
