If you need more details than that, keep reading. We’ll walk you through the whole process.
How to Get Storage Chest in Lego Fortnite
To get a Storage Chest in Lego Fortnite, you are going to have to progress through the first several steps of the tutorial. Specifically, you’ll have to make a campfire and a Crafting Bench first. I assume that you’ve already gotten through all of this, but just in case you haven’t, I need to bring it up. This will unlock the Lumber Mill. Craft that and then make some Planks (more info on all that in our How to Get Planks guide). Once all of that’s done, you’ll be prompted to make a Small Shack. After all, you need shelter in this wilderness you’ve found yourself in. Completing the Shack will unlock several new recipes, including the Bed and the Small Chest.
The final step to get a Storage Chest in Lego Fortnite is to get six Planks, because that’s how many you need to craft the item. Select the Chest from the Furniture section of the crafting menu and plop it wherever you see fit. I’d put it in the shack, just to be safe, but you can place it in the dirt if you so choose. I assume that you can unlock sturdier and larger chests the further you progress, and the more materials you discover. We haven’t gotten that far yet, though. The Small Chest will do you just fine in the beginning stages.
