How to Open Secured Container Chests in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora
One of the things you will encounter early in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora are secured containers. These are special RDA chests that require a different method to unlock. You will find one of these chests very early in the game, after you escape from the RDA facility in the first quest. And you will not be able to open it right away. The game will explain that you need to “hack the system”. If this confuses you, don’t worry. The game will eventually give you the tools you need to access these containers. The very first locked chest we’ve mentioned is near a fueling station where you find So’lek after escaping the RDA. You’ll learn that you need to “hack the security system” in order to unlock this chest. To unlock them, you need a hacking device called SID. You can get SID from Alexander Tremayne, who works in the Maintenance area of the Resistance base. You will meet him during the main quest Welcome to the Resistance. When you find the Resistance Headquarters, Teylan will show you around the base and introduce you to the key people. With SID, you can also hack RDA bases and access their secrets.
Once you have the SID, you can go back to the first secured chest, it’s not far. To open the chest hold LB, and press Y (on the Xbox controller) or press 5 on the PC to bring up your SID. Then you can start the hacking mini-game. You have to navigate a maze and avoid obstacles to reach the goal.
