The Monster Hunter Now Black Diablos event release date and time is Monday, November 20th, 2023 at 9 AM local time. According to the blog post announcing the event, it will end on Sunday, November 26th, 2023 at 4 PM local server time. During this time, “Black Diablos will appear in low numbers in desert habitats.” From November 24th at 5 PM local time and until the end of the event, the devs will add time-limited Event Quests for you to complete.

How to Beat Black Diablos?

The creature has no elemental attacks of its own. The breakable parts are the back, the tail, and the right and left horns. Naturally, breaking of a piece of it will temporarily stun the wyvern.

As far as the fight goes, dodging is the name of the game. Play it defensively and focus on evading the monster’s attacks. And always dodge further than you might think you need. Get your damage in only when it’s safe. This Diablos has five attacks, by the way. The first one is charging right at you with its horns; dodge it to the left or the right. When you’re behind the Black Diablos, it will swipe its tail to the left and the right. Dodge backwards and mind the wind it kicks up. Another attack is the shoulder tackle, where it turns its side to you and throws its full weight behind it. Dodge to the side to avoid it.

The fourth attack Black Diablos has in Monster Hunter Now is yet another frontal charge, but it also ends it with swiping its head to the side.
