The release date of Chucky in DBD, aka Dead by Daylight, is November 28th. That’s according to the official website. We don’t now the exact launch time, but we’ll be sure to add it once (and if) it’s revealed. Chucky is going to be a very interesting addition to the game. For one, due to his small size, he’s going to be the first killer with a third-person camera. For the same reason, it’s going to be extra challenging for survivors to keep track of Chucky; it’s definitely going to make things tense. And yes, one of his outfits will be Bride of Chucky, of course it will be!

Who is Chucky?

Well, he’s the star of the Child’s Play movie series, initially played by the incredible Brad Dourif. His full name is Charles Lee Ray, a serial killer who transfers his soul into a Good Guy doll using a voodoo ritual (just roll with it) to evade capture. The doll is then bought by an unsuspecting child. Shenanigans ensue, culminating with Chucky trying to transfer his soul into the kid, Andy, before getting killed. Except of course the doll isn’t dead for good. His mischief continues across a series of sequels that progressively get campier and sillier. It’s a fantastic ride; I highly recommend watching the old movies. The reboot with Mark Hamill is okay, but it doesn’t have that unique charm.
