How to Unlock Tremor MK1
A lot of people are frustrated trying to figure out how to unlock Tremor in MK1. We’re here to help set some things straight. Namely, we’ll show you when does Tremor come out in Mortal Kombat 1 and how to unlock him. Hopefully, that will clear things up, so you don’t have to worry anymore. Let’s jump right into it.
When Does Tremor Come Out in MK1?
Tremor comes out in MK1 on November 20th, so you won’t be able to unlock him as a Kameo character until then. Yes, it would have made more sense to release the geomancer (geokinetic?) on the same date as Omniman, on November 9th, but… that just didn’t happen. It’s not like the DLC has that many characters on offer, NetherRealm has to stretch the content as far as it will go before snapping. And if you do see people using Tremor in-game already… I don’t know how they’re doing it. I can only assume that the rock ninja was added in the same patch as Omniman, so they managed to glitch their way into using him as a Kameo.
How to Unlock Tremor in MK1?
To unlock Tremor in MK1, you have to buy the Kombat Pack. If you got the Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat 1, you already have it. If not, you’ll have to purchase it separately for a painful forty bucks. What do you get for over 50% of the price of the game? A bunch of characters. Namely, Omniman, Quan Chi, Peacemaker, Ermac, Homelander and Takahashi Takeda as full characters and Tremor, Mavado, Johnny Cage, Ferra and Khameleon as Kameo fighters. I’m not sure whether that’s worth the asking price, but hey, that’s up to you to decide. As far as unlocking Tremor in Mortal Kombat 1, I don’t think you’ll have to do anything extra to actually get him. He’ll just unlock on the 20th, and that’s basically it.
