How to Get the Lost Book in the Nestorian Monastery in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Abbasiyah is the cultural district of Baghdad in AC Mirage. That’s where the home of the House of Wisdom is located. Described as “calm and peaceful”, this is Baghdad’s intellectual hotspot. There, the Empire’s finest scholars, philosophers, scientists and astronomers collect knowledge from the entire Empire and beyond – from the whole known world. And that’s where you will meet Al-Jahiz. Despite him claiming that he’s not a librarian, he does like to collect a lot of books. As a part of his efforts to add the rarest tomes to his collection, he’s asking you to find the six Lost Books for him. One of these AC Mirage Lost Books is located in the Nestorian Monastery. And it is by far the trickiest one to get. Hence, read on as we explain how to get it.
The book itself is located not in the Monastery itself. Rather, it is within the Monastery yard. In the eastern part of the Monastery premises, there are several stalls selling various goods. Near them is a shaft with a crane. If you jump into the shaft, you’ll find a barred door. The book is just behind this door! However, the question here is, how to reach these doors?
The Book Behind the Barred Door in Monastery AC Mirage
The trick is that both the shaft, the crane, and the barred door are just a distraction. Namely, you actually need to use a Secret Entrance, which is in an area just behind the shaft. Check our map and images for the exact location of the secret entrance in the Nestorian Monastery yard. Head down the stairs, and you will find yourself in a basement storage area. There will be another barred door down there leading into the room with the book.
However, in order to reach the Lost Book in the Nestorian Monastery, you’ll need to go through a hole in the wall. The hole is to the left of the barred door. And it is blocked by a movable rack. In fact, there are three racks which you will need to move to access the hole in the wall. Finally, when you are inside the room, make sure to grab all the loot and, of course – the AC Mirage Lost Book of the Nestorian Monastery. The book is just behind a white curtain, on a pedestal.
