How to Fix Flesh Wrought Door Stuck in Conversation Bug in Baldur’s Gate 3

The only way to fix the bug where your Baldur’s Gate 3 or BG3 party member gets stuck in conversation at the Flesh Wrought Door is to exit the game fully, then come back in and load the last autosave that should have happened right before the door. Simply reloading the save without leaving the game first will not work; the bug will just come right back. Trust us, we experienced the very same glitch and tried only loading the autosave. Still couldn’t get to through the door. Then we exited BG3 and tried the save again, and wouldn’t you know it, we could finally open the disgusting gates and proceed to whoop Ketheric’s behind. Well, “whoop” is a bit of an overstatement, but you get the idea.

So, yeah, that’s how you fix the BG3 Flesh Wrought Door stuck in conversation bug, or stuck in dialogue bug. It is an extremely annoying glitch, because it ruins all the buildup to the boss fight against Ketheric. And Larian have certainly done a great job of getting you to feel that tension of an upcoming major battle. Not to mention that, once you emerge victorious, you finally get to Act III and the city of Baldur’s Gate. At least you don’t have to go through too much trouble to get rid of the bug.
