BG Nyrulna Legendary Weapon
Just like in BG2, there are also several legendary weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3. Far more powerful than practically every other weapon in the game, it’s no wonder that they are very difficult to obtain. Take Nyrulna as an example. This legendary trident has a number of very useful abilities – the most impressive of which is the power to return to its wielder once thrown. Builds that heavily favor throwing – such as the Barbarian – can deal a lot of damage with it. Here’s how you can get your hands on the Nyrulna Legendary Weapon in BG3.
How to Get BG Nyrulna Trident Legendary Weapon
The first thing that you need to be aware of here is that you won’t be able to get this weapon before Act 3. If you want to get your hands on another returning weapon before that, you can buy (or steal) the Returning Pike from the trader in the Goblin Camp in Act 1. Luckily, once you do reach Act III, Nyrulna is realtively straightforward to obtain. To do this, head to the Circus of the Last Days. You’re looking for Akabi here. He has a game for you to play, but in true circus fashion – it is rigged. What you need to do is to have a character talk with him, and another to sneak behind him and pickpocket and steal his ring from him. You will now be able to win the game.
Akabi won’t be happy about this and will teleport you away to another place. Depending on your character build, you can either throughly explore this area and deal with the creatures there, or make a beeline for the teleport directly ahead of you. Sneaking and invisibility both work here. Though, we recommend that you explore this place, as there are other powerful items to get here, and you won’t be able to get back once you leave. In any case, what you are looking for is the chest in front of the portal. If you don’t have the necessary skills needed to open it, then simply pick up the entire chest and leave through the portal. Then, give the chest to a party member that is capable of opening it. Inside you will find the Nyrulna.
