BG3 Ceremonial Weapons Locations, Rosymorn Monastery Puzzle

Can’t figure out where to find the BG3 Dawnmaster Ceremonial Weapons locations and thereby get the Dawnmaster’s Crest and ultimately unlock the Blood of Lathander mace? Well, don’t worry, we’re here to help you with the Rosymorn Monastery puzzle. First, we will show you where all three Dawnmaster Weapons are in Baldur’s Gate 3. We’ll then guide you through the process of how to use them to get Blood of Lathander, the mace wielding the power of the god of the rising Sun.

Where to Find Dawnmaster Ceremonial Weapon Locations in Baldur’s Gate 3

To find the three Dawnmaster Ceremonial Weapons in BG3 or Baldur’s Gate 3 and ultimately get the Blood of Lathander mace, you have to explore the Rosymorn Monastery. The first step is to go into the room full of kobolds (X 43, Y 30). Pillage the body of the kobold looter to find the Ceremonial Mace. Next, head upstairs to the top of the monastery and the nest of the Ancient Eagle (X 76, Y 42). That’s where you’ll find the Ceremonial Warhammer. You might be able to sneak it without aggravating the Eagle, but we weren’t able to. Lastly, head to the east of the monastery into the room at the following coordinates: X 102, Y 45 (thanks for the corrections, Shaun and Feddie). Grab the Ceremonial Battleaxe, but be wary of the Sentinel.

How to Place BG3 Ceremonial Weapons

Now that you’ve visited all the Dawnmaster Ceremonial Weapons locations and gotten them all in Baldur’s Gate 3 or BG3, it’s time to use them. Head down into the puzzle room and (X 74, Y 70) and place the weapons onto the appropriate pedestals (Battleaxe on Dawnmaster Vaseid’s pedestal X 74 Y 69, Mace on Dawnmaster Stockhold’s pedestal X 75 Y 71, Warhammer on Dawnmaster Seed’s pedestal X 77 Y 75). This will open a door. Inside, you’ll find a pouch that holds the Dawnmaster’s Crest.

Head down into the temple proper and solve the statue puzzle in the Inquisitor’s Chamber at X 1329, Y -659. Turn the right statue to the east and the left one to the west. Keep going through the temple, deeper and deeper, until you get to the beautiful central chamber (X 1066, Y -782). Place the crest into the empty slot on the altar to get the Blood of Lathander mace, which is one of the best maces in the game. Your paladin will love it.
