These Cells are used to fill up the Zygarde Cube, which allows you to change the Order Pokemon’s Forme. However, there are no Zygarde Cells to be found in the open world. Where are they? Where to Find Zygarde Cell in Pokemon GO

To find a Zygarde Cell in Pokemon GO, you need to use the new Routes mechanic. We talk about those in more detail in our Follow 3 Routes guide, but we’ll give you a rundown here. Basically, Routes are a thing where other Trainers can kinda guide you through certain areas. Open the game and go into the Nearby menu, then select the Routes tab. This will show you all the Routes that are close to you. Select the one you want to explore and then just follow it. It’s really that simple. If you want more info on the new mechanic, check out the official post. As you walk along the Route, keep your eyes peeled for the Cells. They look like little green-glowing things on the ground.

It’ll take you a while before you manage to collect enough Cells for you Zygarde Cube, which you get at Step 3 of the From A to Zygarde Special Research. That’s also where you get to encounter the 10% Forme Zygarde, aka the dog form. Now, we don’t know exactly how the Zygarde Cells and Cube will be used to evolve the Order Pokemon into new Formes; that we’ll have to wait and see.
