DMZ Season 4 Reloaded Player with a Bounty Explained
The Call of Duty Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded update marks the first major update for COD this summer. Unfortunately, when it comes to Call of Duty’s extraction mode, DMZ, it doesn’t bring much. However, that means more focus to what little it brings! For example, there’s a rework of the “Plea and Assimilation” system. If you ask us, the most exciting new feature is the new Bounty. Namely, for the first time, a player in DMZ can receive a Bounty on their head.
“If a Player and their Squad kill too many Players in DMZ, that high-kill individual Player will be issued a warning,” reads the official Season 4 Reloaded patch notes blog post. “If they kill another Player, they can expect a Bounty on their head. Enemy Operators in the Exclusion Zone will then receive intel on your position to secure a reward upon completion.”
On the first day, community opinion was divided on this new feature. Many players would love the game to recognize “aggressive behaviour”, which will protect players who eliminate enemy players in self-defence. However, it’s hard to see how this will be implemented, and for now, it likely counts as kills for everything, no matter if you were the aggressor or just defending yourself. When it comes to the number of kills needed to trigger a player bounty, that hasn’t been specified yet. Some players speculate a minimum of 5 enemy player eliminations. We will make sure to update the article once we know the exact number. Do you know it? Share it with us in the comments section!
