Xdefiant Release Date

Xdefiant is a hotly-anticipated free-to-play first-person shooter. Developed by Ubisoft San Francisco – best known as the developers behind South Park: The Fractured But Whole – and published by Ubisoft, this game has been on the radars of many FPS lovers across the world. First revealed all the way back in July 2021, many are wondering when it is finally going to come out. In this article, we are going to present all of the official information that is currently available regarding the release date of Xdefiant.

When is the Xdefiant Release Date

As of the time of writing, we still don’t know the exact release date when Xdefiant is going to come out. However, what we do know is that it is set to arrive sometime “later this summer”. This has been confirmed by the developers themselves over on the game’s official Twitter page. Though, since we are already in the middle of July, this doesn’t leave a whole lot of Summer. As such, the game is most likely going to come out in August. Of course, this is only speculation on part.

But given past experience, games of this scope usually give at least two-to-three weeks notice before coming out. This is so that players have enough time to plan around when they can play it, not to mention – for the game’s marketing to be able to successfully promote the game. In any case, we are going to update this article with a more exact release date as soon as one has been officially revelead. And in the meantime, you need to be aware that the game is only going to launch on the PC (via Ubisoft Connect), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The versions for last-gen consoles are then going to arrive at a later – as of yet also unknown – date.
