TOTK Deya Village Ruins Treasure Chest
The Zelda TOTK Deya Village Ruins treasure chest is pretty tricky to get your hands on. If you’re even aware there’s anything up there in the giant hollow tree trunk. In this guide, we are going to give you a few ideas on how you can get the chest in Deya Lake in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, because there’s definitely more than one solution. Let’s dive in!
How to Get Deya Village Ruins Lake Chest in Tears of the Kingdom
There are several ways you can get the lake chest in the Deya Village Ruins in Zelda TOTK or Tears of the Kingdom. We’re talking about the chest that’s in the giant tree trunk that’s at these coordinates: 0361, -1999, -0019. Now, the way we did it was to fuse a Zonai Rocket to a shield, then used it to fly up to the opening. We then used the paraglider to get into the tree. It’s pretty tricky, and it took a few tries, but that’s how we did it. Another way to do it is place some wood and a Hylian Pine Cone down, hit those with a fire arrow, then use the updraft to get to the chest. Or you can put some Octo Balloons onto a large board and float up.
Another way to get the lake chest in the Deya Village Ruins in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom or TOTK is to use Ultrahand on one of the wooden boards. Then, take it up as far as it will go and bring it back down. Stand on the board and use Rewind on it. If all works well, you’ll basically have an elevator of your own making. I’m not entirely certain this would work, so do tell me in the comments. However you get up there, open the chest and get the reward. We got a really sturdy Royal Shield for our troubles. Is it worth the effort? I’d say yes. And besides, it’s about the journey, not the destination.
