How to Complete the South Dueling Peaks Cave Stone Door Puzzle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
As you adventure through Hyrule, if you are one of those players who turn every stone and peek around every corner, you will probably discover the South Dueling Peaks Cave. This cave is hidden deep in the Dueling Peaks Canyon. Where the Squabble River cuts through the mountain. It’s on the southern riverbank, cutting into the hill. It is a relatively small cave, with but a few enemies inside.
When you reach the end of the cave, you will encounter a massive stone door. Obviously, there got to be something behind it. In the same room, you’ll see pressure plates on the floor. There are 10 of them. They are arranged to form a triangle. You’ll see a couple of small stones as well. You can use them to put pressure on plates and trigger them. Hence, you will probably need to put pressure on the correct tiles in order to open the Stone Door. But which ones are the correct ones? Well, you will need to leave the South Dueling Peaks Cave in order to find the solution.
Namely, the solution is in the other cave! Specifically, in the North Dueling Peaks Cave! You can find this cave across the Dueling Peaks Canyon, on the other side of the riverbank. Check out our map for the exact location. And inside that cave, you will see drawings on the ceiling, indicating where you need to put the stones in order to open the cave. With that knowledge, head back to the South Dueling Peaks Cave to solve the puzzle with the Stone Door and collect the reward – Tingle’s Shirt!
