Toto Lake TOTK, Broken Slate Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
The Broken Slate is a Main Quest in Zelda TotK that you get after talking with Jiahto. He has found an ancient Zora plate that he believes could provide a hint towards Zelda’s disappearance. But alas, the problem is that the slate itself is broken and he cannot figure out its full meaning until it is restored. So what you need to do is to figure out where the Broken Slate is before you can complete this quest. Where to find Toto Lake Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Your next step is to find Jiahto in a cave at Toto Lake. Toto Lake is hidden just north of Zora’s Domain, in the hills. Once you come across Zora guard in front of a small cave, you’ll know that you are at the right location.
Where to Find The Broken Slate in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
When you speak with Jiahto there, he is going to tell you that he wants to decipher the remains of a big stone slate on the wall, but that it is missing its central piece. Without this piece, he won’t be able to solve its true meaning. So it falls to Link to find this Broken Slate piece. Luckily, it is very close by. Turn around and leave the cave. Left from the cave’s entrance, there are some large rocks. Climb them and you will see the Broken Slate there.
However, you can’t pick it up yet, as it is covered in a dark substance that you have to clear away first. You can do this by throwing some Splash Fruit at it. If you don’t have any of them in your inventory, there is a a Splash Fruit tree on the other side of the entrance to the cave. Once you have freed the Broken Slate, pick it up with Ultrahand. Rotate it until it is in the right position and place it in the hole in wall to complete the quest.
