How to Use Device Dispenser in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To use a Device Dispenser in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll need to “feed” it Construct Horns (ideally Soldier Construct Horns) and/or Zonai Charges. Other items might work, too, but these are the ones that we’ve been using. Open your inventory and hold the items you want to drop into the altar in front of the Dispenser. The more items you put in, the more devices you’ll get. So, for example, five Construct Horns or Zonai Charges grant you five items from the Dispenser. It’s basically the same as cooking, in that you have to hold several items and drop them into a pot. Simple as that, really. It’s a neat way to get more useful Zonai items for what’s largely trash.

So, yeah, that’s how you use a Device Dispenser in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. What you get from them is largely random, but each has a set list of Zonai items that it can drop. Simply highlight it on the map, and the game will tell you what the prize pool is. In the beginning, it’s going to be fairly minor things, like Portable Pots or Fans. As you progress through the game and discover other Device Dispensers, they will start dropping cooler stuff. So, whenever you discover a new one of these, check what they can give you.
