Redfall Multiplayer Not Working Issue Fix
If you can’t play multiplayer co-op with friends in Redfall and don’t know what’s the issue, we’re here to help you! Arkane Studios’ first game under Microsoft’s umbrella is finally here, and unfortunately, it hasn’t had a warm reception. However, it is still a good enough experience to play with friends. Here’s how to fix the “Redfall Multiplayer Not Working” issue.
How to Fix Redfall Multiplayer Not Working
Arkane Studios’ vampire immersive sim Redfall can be played as a solo experience, and developers have assured fans that there are no limitations to playing solo. However, the game is designed primarily as a co-op experience for up to four players. And for the most fun, it is advised to play it as such. Encounters are designed with co-op in mind, characters have witty interactions with each other, etc. Furthermore, many abilities show their full potential when paired with other characters’ abilities. With all that in mind, you will want to play with friends! However, for many players, there is the “Redfall Multiplayer Not Working” issue. If you are one of them and can’t play Redfall with friends, there’s an easy solution.
Firstly, the co-op is not drop-in and out. You will need to pick the “host game” option on the title screen in order to play with friends. Secondly, what you need to do is to have both you and your friends play at least some games solo. Start a game, beat a few enemies, and play for an hour. At least get to the point where you unlock the base. Once you reach this, the game should allow you to play with other people. A number of players report that this solution has worked for them. Hence, hopefully, it will work for you as well. If you know of any other solutions, please share them with us in the comments!
