Pokemon GO Tangela Spotlight Hour 2023

The 2023 Tangela Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO will have the Pokemon spawn way more often in the wild, including shiny Tangela. We’ll get to that in more detail in the next section. For now, let’s cover the important details of the event. First off, it will take place on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023. You can enjoy it from 6 PM to 7 PM local server time, as is always the case with Spotlight Hours. The event bonus is going to be double Catch Stardust, meaning you’ll receive twice the Stardust for every Pokemon you catch. Not exactly the most exciting of bonuses, but hey, you never know. Having a ready supply of Stardust is generally a good idea, so might as well make the most of the event.

Can Tangela be Shiny in Pokemon GO

Yes, Tangela can absolutely be shiny in Pokemon GO, so the 2023 Spotlight Hour will be a great opportunity to catch one or more of them. You know, stock up a little, as it were. For those of you that have not encountered a shiny Tangela before, it’s very easy to tell apart from the regular version. The normal Tangela is blue, the shiny is slime-green. No way you can confuse the two. And, yes, Tangrowth also has a shiny variant. You can get it easily by evolving a shiny Tangela. You’ll need a hundred Candies and a Shinnoh Stone to pull it off, though, so best of luck to you on the grind.
