How to Start Merlin Secrets & Schemes Hidden Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To start the Disney Dreamlight Valley Merlin Secrets and Schemes hidden quest, you need to find a specific item. It is really easy to overlook, so much so that we’re not entirely certain whether it spawns immediately after you start the new Lion King update or not. For what it’s worth, we found it after unlocking both Nala and Simba. I don’t know if that’s necessary, so you can go straight to the location of the item and check. Open your map and look for the small round puddle of water in the north of Glade of Trust. That’s where we’re going. When you get there, you’ll see a note emitting golden stars, indicating that you can pick it up.

Pick up the note next to the pool

And that’s how you start the Merlin Secrets and Schemes secret quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley – you pick up that note (or notes, rather). The next step is to take them to Merlin, because, well, that’s who they belong to. He reveals that he’s been keeping an eye on Ursula and Mother Gothel, who may or may not be plotting something bad. That’s where we are going to leave it in this guide. We might update it with more info if necessary, or write further guides on other steps. I’m sure you can figure it out on your own from here, though. In the meantime, check out some of our other Disney Dreamlight Valley guides if you need help with anything else.
