Diablo 4 Alt Tab Crashing Issue Fix
The Alt-Tab has long been one of the most used key shortcuts in gaming. It allows us to switch between two different tasks in Windows (one of them being a game) on the fly. As such, most games don’t have any problems with this shortcut and will continue working in the background when you alt-tab them. However, it appears that there is a problem with using alt-tab on the Diablo 4 Beta and that this is causing the game to crash. If you are interested in learning how to fix the Diablo 4 Alt Tab Crashing Issue, we have the explanation for this method right here.
How to Fix Diablo 4 Alt Tab Not Working
During the first round of Diablo 4 Beta testing, this feature worked as intended. Because of this, players are very concerned that it is no longer functioning. It just crashes the game when you return to the desktop. Naturally, this is very irritating, as players cannot alt-tab to do something else while waiting to get out of the queue and into the game. It’s quite possible that this has something to do with the latest Nvidia drivers (the drivers came out yesterday, March 23rd, 2023).
So, now that we’ve identified the probable cause of the problem, what can we do to fix it? First, go to your Documents Folder. Once there, look for the Diablo 4 Folder. Delete it. Now when you start the game again and alt-tab, doing this should no longer cause the game to crash. Many players have reported that, by doing this, they managed to fix the crashing. Hopefully, this will work for you as well. And if you have figured out any other method to employ to stop this from happening, then please feel free to share it with us in the comments below.
