Diablo 4 Beta Pet Dogs & Cats
One of the biggest and most important questions that you can ask in any game that features dogs and cats is – can you pet them? Since the Diablo 4 Beta also features plenty of these furry critters, players are wondering whether the option to pet them is available, and if so – how to do this. In this guide, we are going to show you whether or not it is possible to pet dogs and cats in the Diablo 4 Beta, and how this process functions in the game.
How to Pet Diablo 4 – Dogs & Cats
So, first to answer if you can even do this. The short answer is that – yes, you can. But, there are certain things that you need to be aware of. To begin with, it seems that, for now, you can only pet dogs. You can’t pet cats. Though, of course, this may be changed in the future (and in all likelihood, it will be, considering that players really love their doggies and kitties). Also, while you can pet dogs, the option of how to do this may not be apparent right from the start.
To be able to pet a dog in Diablo 4, you first need to, of course, find a dog. There are several of these in settlements such as Kyovashad. Next, position your character directly in front of the dog. After that, you can need to use the Hello Emoticon to pet it. Open the Action Wheel by pressing E on the PC. In here, you will see a list of emoticons that you can use. Select Hello and your character will then pet the doggy. Finally, note that, the way this currently works in the game can be a bit finicky. You need to have your character at exactly the right position at exactly the right distance from the dog for it to work. So if it isn’t working, try moving your character and trying again until you get it to work properly.
